The Chisinau City Hall informs that the municipal services continue the snow removal intervention on the sidewalks, around the pedestrian crossings and the inter carriage access roads, in order to avoid the formation of the ice.   

In this context, we mention that the Housing and Communal Directorate acted overnight with 6 HACO units, cleaning the sidewalks and sprinkling the anti-slip material in the historic area of the city. Also, 4 trucks were trained to evacuate the snow accumulated on the bd. Stephen the Great and the Holy and the streets intersecting the central boulevard.

On Tuesday, municipal services will intervene, primarily in the courtyard, with snow removal equipment, and 350 workers will be trained to sprinkle anti-slip material on sidewalks and waiting stations.

The municipality continues to appeal to economic agents / homeowners and housing fund managers to intervene in snowing adjacent territories and cleaning rocks from rooftops in order to avoid people's injuries and the destruction of material assets.
