16 art people from the country have been awarded for their activity in 2018. The Education Minister gave each of them 20 thousand lei. This year, at the Culture Awards Gala the teachers have also been awarded.

Larisa Jar, a teacher of Ciprian Porumbescu Art College has also been awarded. She started her carer in 1990.

"My most important recompense is to see that my students find their vocation in life", said Larisa Jar, teacher of Ciprian Porumbescu college.

Nelly Ciobanu also received such a diploma.

"It is a wonderful surprise", said Nelly Ciobanu, singer.

The conductor of Joc orchestra, Vasile Goia also has been awarded.

"I want to thank Joc orchestra for supporting me", said Vasile Goia.

The best actress of 2018 is Angela Ciobanu from Mihai Eminescu National Theater.

"Thank you very much for such a title. I also want to say thank you to my theater. I love it very much", said Angela Ciobanu, actress at Mihai Eminescu theater.

Monica Babuc, the Minister of Culture, Education and Research also attended the event.

"We are privileged to have these artists among us. The knowledge that we gained throughout the history about art define us as a nation", declared Monica Babuc.

Four other artists received Government's diplomas.
