Andrian Candu, the President of the Parliament held a meeting with the delegation of Republic of Moldova friendship delegation within the European Parliament, Norica Nicolai and Maria Grapini MEPs.

Andrian Candu talked about the actions of the authorities to provide fair and transparent elections. The President of the Parliament said that they will take all the measures to provide a fair, transparent and correct electoral campaign.

Norica Nicolai MEP highlighted that the European Parliament supports and will continue to support our country. The MEPs said that it is important to improve this relationship after the parliamentary elections.

The friendship group of the Republic of Moldova and the European Parliament was launched in 2017 at the initiative of Norica Nicolai.

Romania took over the EU presidency for the first semester of 2019.
