A Nisporeni police officer died today after being buffered by a car. The accident took place on the M-1 route, near Cristesti village.
The 24-year-old policeman, who was on leave, moved from Leuşeni to Chisinau on the left side of the road, when he was thoroughly buffered by a Wolkswagem Cady model car driven by a 33 years old man, Ivanovca village, Hincesti district.
As a result of the trauma, he died on the spot. The driver preloaded at an excessive speed.
The policeman was hired in the institution in 2016 and worked in the Nisporeni Escort Service.
The driver was detained for 72 hours. If found guilty, he / she risks from 3 to 7 years of imprisonment.
