The Democratic Party from Moldova decided to sue the company that owns Jurnal TV, because they rejected a request of DPM to broadcast a video spot about the republican referendum that will take place on February 24, without any explanations.

DPM considers that this behavior of Jurnal TV is defiant, as they encroach the Election Code, that stipulates that the TV channels should offer the candidates one free minute and two paid minutes of publicity.

"We want to say that we made a request to Chisinau Court and we want Jurnal TV to broadcast DPM's sports, as the law says, without paying us compensations for their behavior. Also, DPM will made a request to the Audiovisual Council", it was written in the press release.
