More than 150 thousand families, which have a monthly income of up to 2,000 lei will receive more help for the cold period of the year, amounting to 700 lei. The announcement was made by the DPM leader, Vlad Plahotniuc, after the party's working meeting. He said that the compensation for the heat payment will be doubled from 350 to 700 lei.
"We discussed a topic that is constantly on the agenda of the government, linked to the need to increase heat compensation, which socially vulnerable families receive during the cold season of the year for five months - November, December, January, March.We have previously requested additional resources for a larger increase for the next season and today I can tell you that we will double this compensation from 350 to 700 lei", said Vlad Plahotniuc.
