Today is the last day to apply for registration in the electoral race. Today also expires the deadline for registration of the participants in the consultative referendum, which will take place on the same day as the parliamentary elections.

Until now, seven political parties have been registered as electoral contestants on the national constituency. It's DPM, PSRM, PCRM, the PAS-PPDA binomial block, the "SOR" Party, the "Miscarea Populara Antimafie" and the "Partidul Nostru" party.
Six other parties filed papers with the Central Electoral Commission to be registered. We are talking about the Party of Regions, the Democracy Home Party, the National Liberal Party, the People's Voice Party, the Speranta-Nadejda Movement and the Patria Political Party.
Representatives of the Liberal Party have announced that they will file their papers today with the CEC. All political parties registered by the CEC will enter the January 25 electoral campaign. At the same time, more than 280 people were interested in running for unominated constituencies. Of these, 212 were already registered in the competition.
Regarding the campaign registration for the consultative referendum, currently only two parties compete for the plebiscite, namely the Democratic Party of Moldova and the Party of Communists.
The parliamentary elections and the consultative referendum will take place on 24 February.
