Five political parties will participate in the electoral campaign for the February 24 referendum. These are DPM, PCRM, "Home Democracy", "Vointa Poporului" and the "Spreranta-Nadejda" Movement. The last three participants were registered today by members of the Central Electoral Commission.

Parties "Democracy Home" and "Vointa Poporului" will plead against the organization of the consultative referendum. The Speranta-Nadejda Movement has announced that it will advocate for the reduction of the number of deputies from 101 to 61, but on the other hand they are against their dismissal.

At the same time, because of the lack of the necessary documents for entering the electoral race, the CEC rejected the registration file of the "Our House Moldova" formation.

The initiative to organize the referendum belongs to the Democratic Party of Moldova.

The registration of parties and electoral blocs for participation in the electoral campaign ended on January 24.
