A former head of a bank branch was robbed in his own house. The man and his wife, both 77 years old, were tied to two robbers who entered the dwelling with balaclavas on their heads. Thieves have stolen goods worth 45,000 lei and a Makarov pistol from the two spouses' safe.

For now, the police have no suspicion. The owners of the dwelling were traumatized and hospitalized in the Drochia district hospital. At present, their condition is stable.

Police investigate the case, and if the two robbers are identified, they risk up to 14 years of jail.
