He has sworn the oath of faith to Romania, a member of the European Union and of the North Atlantic Alliance, and now criticizes the NATO bloc . We are talking about PSRM candidate on Ungheni uninominal constituency, deputy Ghenadi Mitriuc, who is also deputy chairman of the Parliamentary Security Committee.

"When we come to power, we will do our utmost to ensure that the NATO Office in Chisinau no longer exists, and Moldova will be independent and neutral", said Gennady Mitriuc, PSRM candidate. 

The anti-NATO stance expressed by Ghenadi Mitriuc does not prevent him from enjoying his status as a European citizen.Neither convinced pro-Russian party colleagues do not see a problem in having Romania's citizenship, especially when, as a Romanian phrase says - the interest bears the feast. 

" - I took the oath as every citizen did, it disturbed me, and then it bothers me now. I needed a passport so I could pass through to the countries.

 - Reporter: Only for this reason? some personal reasons", said Mitriuc.

The socialist deputy tried to trick the basil, assuring that he had filed a request for renunciation of Romanian citizenship without any proof:  "I wrote a request for a long time. The passport expired a year ago and something".

According to the National Authority for Citizenship, among the socialist deputies holding the citizenship of Romania, except for Ghenadi Mitriuc, are: Adrian Lebedinschi, Anatolie Labunet, Corneliu Furculita and Radu Mudreac. This despite the fact that the former PSRM President, Igor Dodon, promised in the 2014 parliamentary election campaign that all socialist elected representatives would give up Romanian citizenship.
