Party of Regions of Moldova was launched in electoral campaign for elections of February 24
The Party of Regions of the Republic of Moldova was launched in the electoral campaign for parliamentary elections with the promise to open new jobs and defend the interests of Moldovans working in Russia. Former leader Alexandr Kalinin criticizes the statements of the PSRM informal leader, Igor Dodon, that he would have obtained the amnesty of the expelled Moldovans from Russia.
Members of the political party say that the priority electoral offer is improving the condition of Moldovans living in Russia.
"We are proposing, first and foremost, an improvement in the legal regime of our citizens abroad, an improvement in basic living conditions, access to quality legal services", said Cristina Craievscaia, candidate for the position of deputy, Party of Regions.
The leader of the Party of Regions, Alexandr Kalinin, says that, unlike PSRM, his party will not make vague statements.
"In fact, the amnesty does not work, but we will draw attention to the amnesty and we will oblige the president, who has taken responsibility and promised the citizens that he will be an amnesty, he will have to respect his promise", said Alexandr Kalinin, President of the Party of Regions.
PSRM representatives have not yet commented on allegations. The Party of Regions will be the tenth in the ballot papers for the national constituency.
