Approximately seven per cent of all roads repaired under the "Good Roads for Moldova" program were rehabilitated with deviations. Because of this, there could be holes and bumps in certain segments , the State Road Administration has announced, promising that the problems will be remedied by those who have not done the right thing.

Just three months after putting it into operation, on one of the roads in Criuleni, the asphalt was crushed and pits appeared. Those who dealt with the execution of the works blame a technical error and say that the situation will be remedied. 

"At our computerized asphalt plant, the asphalt concrete preparation system, a sensor has failed, the maintenance bitumen is being maintained, the time is maintained, the time is being done, SA Roads repair all this road segment , we cut it and apply another layer of asphalt concrete, "explained Mihail Nistreanu, technical director of SA Roads Criuleni. 

Locals are indignant about the quality of the road. They say it would be blame: "They wander out when they've made it here, it can not be done when it's raining outside, I know it's when it's nice outside. It's really bad, it's not that way".

Officials from the State Road Administration provide assurances that the state will not pay any leu, and repairs fall on the responsible economic agent. 

"With the conclusion of the contract for the execution of the works, a 5% guarantee was also imposed. The money is transferred to the State Road Administration and during the warranty period all non-conformities will be remedied", said Ion Drucec, Deputy Director of the State Road Administration.

In Hincesti, for example, 13 million lei were allocated through the "Good Roads" project, of which approximately 7 km of road was repaired. 

"They are very good, then they were worse, they were pits, it was really bad, and the world was going too hard when we went to order. Now it's good, easy for the world, easy for us", said a man. 

"With water drainage, the drainage broke down the road, but back was not done until last year when it came from here to the Court of Manuc Bei, it is paved there and there, it is very good. Thank you to the leadership", explained a local. 

"It is very good that they did it, it was a very bad way. It could not be walked either by foot or by car or by anything", said another local.

The economic agent responsible for carrying out work on one of the streets in Hincesti assures that the works were executed at the highest level. 

"The quality of the works is done according to the rules in force. The guarantee is offered according to the contract, which is registered for a year, but after the proper operation of the road, according to all the norms, it will last ten and even more years," concluded Serghei Sava, site supervisor. 

Under the "Good Roads" project launched by the government last year, over 1,600 km of road was repaired across the country. The cost of the project was nearly 2 billion lei.
