Starting today, the farmers can apply to the Agency for Intervention and Allowances in Agriculture, in order to receive their allowances. The requests can be made until October 31.

The total budget of this year is 900 million lei. 390 million are the liabilities of the farmers for 2018.

"One of the priorities is to implement two allowances ways of the farmers, a classic one and one in advance. The requests can be done online", said Vadim Curmei, AIPA deputy director.

Also, starting today until April 4, the farmers can apply for advance allowances. The funds of these payments are worth 45 million lei.

The authorities want an efficient investment of this money. Iurie Usurelu, state general secretary says that the farmers can get funds from some other projects.

"We want a further development. We will encourage the assistance projects. If it's not efficient, then don't request more money", said Iurie Usurelu, State General Secretary.

The previous year, over 7400 requests for allowances have been made. As a result, over six billion lei have been invested.
