Over 5500 families received Edelweiss present box within "A new life" campaign

Over 5500 families received the present box for the newborns from Edelweiss foundation, within "A new life" project.
In nine months, since the program started, over 5500 families all over the country received the necessary things for the newborns.
"This project supports the Moldovan families. We indexed the allowances of the newborns up to 5300 lei and they also receive the present box that is worth 2000 lei. Thus, the allowance reaches 7300 lei", said Pavel Filip prime minister.
The present box has the following components: baby clothes, diaper package, lingerie, blanket, set of baby cosmetics and a plush toy. All these are made in Moldova, expect the pampers.
The beneficiaries of the program are all the citizens of the country, but also the foreigners who have residence permit in Moldova.
"A new life" project of the Government was launched on December 1, 2018. In 2017, over 34 thousand children were born in Moldova.
