Andrian Candu urges PPDA leader Andrei Năstase: Politics is not to attack and curse citizens
In Moldova, there is no place for politicians who curse and attack citizens. They should find other jobs if they want to do so.
People should listen and respond to the questions, they should present solutions for citizens' problems and not attack them.
It's the message from Democratic Party Vice-President Andrian Candu to PPDA leader Andrei Năstase, who at a recent meeting bullied a man and cursed anyone for their tough questions.
In a video posted on Facebook, Andrian Candu urges PPDA leader Andrei Năstase not to punish people just because they have different opinions, instead he should respect their rights to express their points of view.
According to Candu, politics means a fight of ideas and this term should not be interpreted in its own right.
"Politics doesn't mean insulting, it does not involve an attack on the person, politics does not mean intimidation, and the most important thing is that politics is not to attack people and curse them because their have different opinions", said PDM vice-president.
The President of the Parliament also says that the PPDA leader's hate speech is not what citizens of the Republic of Moldova want.
"Maybe because of lack of experience and lack of political education, but dear Andrei, politics in Moldova must be clean. If you think politics should be different, you're wrong and need to seek another occupation" Candu.
Andrian Candu's statements come after the PPDA leader showed aggressive behavior at Criuleni earlier this month. The politician did not hesitate to raise the voice to the citizens.
- I will take you out, do you understand?
- Why do you want so?
- You got me?
- Why do you want to take me out?
- If not
- For what you want to do so?
This is not the first time that Andrei Nastase is aggressive with people. Recently, the PPDA leader raised his voice at citizens and gave them lessons of conduct in the public space to the inhabitants of Dubasarii Vechi.
