Six inspectors from the Municipal Public Health Center were detained this morning by NAC officers. They are targeted in a corruption file with other employees.
According to the spokesperson of the National Anti Corruption Center, Angela Starinschi, the suspects took money from individuals and businesses in return for sanitary authorizations in order not to carry out checks, but also not to include in the reports the detected irregularities.
Prosecutors continue searches in their employees' offices, and then they will provide more details.
