The Communists requested him to check the funding sources of Presidency's reconstruction.

According to PCRM deputies, the President of the country encroached the legislation. They say that there wasn't an auction to chose the company that would evolve the repair works.

On the other side, the Presidency released a press released and denied the accusations. They mention that the Presidency didn't confirm the company that would repair it, all the costs have been covered by Turkey's Government.

The first three floors of the Presidency have been destroyed after the April 7, 2009 rally. The repair works costed 10 million Euro and the headquarter was inaugurated in October 2018.
