Two solar trees will be installed on Eugen Doga pedestrian street and on the Mircea cel Batran Boulevard in the Capital next spring. City Hall approved this project proposed by Chisinau residents. 

The trees will accumulate the sunlight and turn it into energy. We can rest and charge phone under these trees. One of the two trees will be installed in the area of the Ministry of Finance.

The installation of solar trees is a regional project of UNDP, benefiting the capitals of Serbia, Tajikistan, Georgia and the Republic of Moldova. The cost of the project amounts to 20,000 euros.
