A driver tried to introduce banned substances into the country. But his plan was blunted by border guards. The incident was registered in the sense of entering the Republic of Moldova.
The research revealed that 520 g of vegetal mass was taken from Ukraine and was to arrive in Chisinau.
At the control line there was a truck running the Russian Federation - Romania. During the checks in the driver's compartment, a two-packed teapot (1 liter) box was found inside of which there was a dark green chopped vegetable substance with a pungent odor similar to cannabis.
Audiat, the 44-year-old driver from Chisinau, said he took over the package from a known Ukrainian who asked him to help him send him to an unknown person in the capital. Moreover, the Moldovan says he did not get into the details of the boxes.
The case is investigated to determine all the circumstances.
