Two electoral officials were stopped at the joint control post located at the exit of Varnita village from Anenii Noi district. Moreover, it is the President and secretary of the 48/10 polling station in Anenii Noi for the Eastern region, as well as the driver of the car they were driving with. The three people came from Chisinau where they attended a training for Sunday elections. 

According to the Causeni Police Inspectorate, they were stopped, checked and questioned by border guards, who seized two laptops. The computers were provided by the electoral authority during the parliamentary elections. According to Deputy Head of the General Police Inspectorate, Gheorghe Cavcaliuc, laptops contained personal data about voters.

"The computers will pass an expertise, in order to check if any interference have been made and also to make sure that it wasn't an abuse of personal data. Their main purpose was to obtain personal data. We will establish the circumstances after the results are ready", said Gheorghe Cavcaliuc.

The three of them are at the mixed control post.

OSCE mission has also been announced about this case.

OSCE mission and the prosecutors will analyze this situation and then they will take the required decision.
