CEC, USEFUL INFORMATION for voters who vote today abroad
About 27,000 citizens of the Republic of Moldova abroad exercised their right to vote until 13:00. The information was presented by the CEC president, Alina Russu, during the first press briefing.
"Some queues have been formed in some polling stations such as Frankfurt, Dublin, Bologna, Modena, Parma, Treviso, so we urge the citizens to enter diaspora.voteaza.md to get informed about the closest section where in the village where many polling stations are open, voters are urged to choose the least crowded", said the CEC President.
At the same time, according to the representatives of the CEC, the contestations on election day regarding the exercise of the right to vote or the administration of elections in the polling stations opened abroad are forwarded directly to the court in whose territorial jurisdiction the district electoral council (the hierarchically superior electoral body). They can be filed personally and / or through a representative through proxy and / or by post, e-mail or fax.
