It is simple to vote. What voters from Rascani say
The mixed electoral system did not give the voters a lot of headaches. The voters, who today exercised their right to vote, say it.
The four ballots, both for parliamentary and referendum, did not confuse Moldovans, and people say they did. And those who did not succeed, the members came to their aid.
At a polling station in the Rascani district of Chisinau, most voters said it was easy to exercise their right to vote even though they had four ballots ahead, three more than usual.
"What's going to be difficult here, so much talk about the new mixed electoral system, that there is no voting problem anymore".
"No, everything is fine. Everything is accessible, everything is clear and understandable".
"Pretty easy, accessible".
"How did you manage to vote?"
"Easy".
"Was not that difficult?"
"No".
"It was not difficult, we were informed".
Others admit that they were not very well informed about the new voting system and the referendum questions. So help has been helpful from the observers.
"Why did not you inform?
"I asked myself and explained to me what I had to do, but I did not have time to make a right decision.
" "How do you think who could be confused in four ballots? Anyone if they are not informed or unwilling to be informed".
The voters say that although they had four ballot papers, the voting time was the same as in the one-ballist election.
" - How long did it take you do you vote this year in line with 2014?
- Very urgently, two, three minutes".
This year, for the first time in Moldova, citizens were able to vote on the mixed electoral system, where citizens had two ballots, where they could choose directly 51 deputies in constituencies uninominal, and 50 MPs - on party lists.
The other two bulletins were for the referendum. Two voters' questions will be addressed to the voters. One is to reduce the number of deputies in Parliament, and the second concerns the possibility of dismissing the people's electors for failing to fulfill their commitments.
