Pavel Filip: Thanks everybody. The elections have been transparent, free and fair
Pavel Filip prime minister thanked all the citizens who attended today's parliamentary elections.
At the same time, the official asked everybody who is involved in the process to obey all the rules.
"I would like to thank everybody who has been involved in the organization and have guaranteed the smooth running of the parliamentary elections. I want to thank everyone. The process was transparent, free and democratic. We have had a great interest from the observers.
When I have been to the polls and I met all the personal observers and talked with them, and I would like to thank them much, even if some of the opposition tried different ways to mislead the representatives of the commission observation. Sometimes hysterical statements from my point of view.
I am fully confident that the massive presence of international, but not only international, observers will demonstrate that these elections took place in an absolutely correct and transparent way.
Certainly, there were also irregularities. Irregularities that are contradictory to the Democratic party and our point of view can not influence the outcome of votes and can not influence the voting process. One important thing I would like to highlight for the first time was that the Diaspora vote was impeccable and there were no problems. This is why I want to thank all of the diplomatic missions because most of the polling stations were there and ensured both the good conduct of the elections and order in the polling stations.
I want to thank my colleagues in the DPM very much, my colleagues who have worked very hard in this campaign with thousands of meetings, talking to people because that's why we are in the political mission to serve the citizen first.
I want to thank all the citizens who came to the hundreds of meetings I had personally and hundreds of thousands of people who participated in the meetings of the representatives of the Democratic Party.
I want to ask everyone involved to comply with the rules of organization of this process, it will be counted everywhere, all the acts will be drafted as required by the legal framework, and I would like to ask the representatives of the Democratic Party to be vigilant, and on this others who are involved in this process do not put pressure on us so that in the end we can say that the results have not been influenced and we all enjoy these results, but first of all I want the citizens of the country to enjoy because this exercise was for citizens and the continuation of the parliament we are going to do for the citizens, ",said Pavel Filip.
