ENEMO: Electoral process on February 24 was organized professionally and transparently
The electoral process on February 24 was organized professionally and transparently. There are preliminary conclusions of the International Election Observation Mission of Moldova ENEMO, presented today at a press conference.
"The election day was generally calm and the procedural elements of the trial were carried out in a professional manner by the electoral bureaus. The electoral campaign was intensive, especially a few days before the elections", said Dritan Taulla, the head of the ENEMO mission.
However, international observers have also pointed out some problems, such as transporting voters on the left bank of the Dniester, as well as allegations of buying votes. This information should, however, be verified.
Experts will be active in our country by the end of March and will prepare a full report on the electoral process.
The ENEMO observation mission for the February 24th parliamentary election is financially supported by the Embassy of the Netherlands, Sweden and the US Congress Endowment Foundation, through the National Democratic Institute and the European Union.
