Average monthly wage, rising by more than 14 percent in the last three months of 2018
The average salary in the private sector of the economy reached almost 7,000 lei at the end of last year. Compared to the similar period of 2017, the leftists increased, on average by 14.3 percent, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics.
The most spectacular growth for employees in information and communication technologies. Their salaries were increased, by over 22%, reaching an average of over 15 thousand 700 lei.
Although the salary of employees in the catering and accommodation sector is much lower, the good news is that even in their case the leftists have increased by more than 20%.
The "Good Roads for Moldova" project, which has revitalized the mining industry, has generated more generous pay in the field. Thus, by the end of last year, leverage was higher by almost 21 percent, compared to the same period of 2017.
In the last months of last year, those who work in art or leisure activities benefited from higher wages.
According to statistics, in the last months of 2018, the average wage increased by 18.2 percent and reached 5,500 lei, and in health and social assistance: by 12,3 percent. In the case of the public servants, since December 1, the wage reform has been implemented, with increases ranging from ten to 100%.
