Several electoral competitors contest the results of Parliamentary elections
The Central Electoral Commission received dozens of complaints from electoral contestants dissatisfied with the results of parliamentary elections on 24 February. They invoke more deviations, which could radically change the outcome of the vote.
Among those who reported to the CEC is the candidate of the Democratic Party on the uninominal district number 4 in Riscani, Iurie Urzica. That after losing to Socialist Vladimir Mizdrenco, who gained 170 votes more.
Urzica has informed the CEC that several ballots have been damaged in several polling stations in its constituency, which have been voiced in favor of the CEC, and the "Voted" stamp has been applied to other candidates.
Therefore, Iurie Urzică asks the central electoral authority to view video recordings to verify the legality of the electoral process.
"We have doubts about the results of the parliamentary elections that took place in District 4, Riscani. It is a group of jurists who will prove the facts that we have exposed to them", the candidate from the district no. 4 Rascani, Iurie Urzica.

The last day of receiving complaints from electoral contestants is Friday, March 1. Subsequently, they will send to the Constitutional Court along with the CEC final report on the aggregation of elections.
According to the Electoral Code, if the High Court magistrates find that violations have been committed that have influenced the results of the vote and the attribution of the mandates, the elections in those constituencies are declared null and void. Under these circumstances, the CEC organizes repeated elections within two weeks.
Electoral contestants guilty of violations of electoral legislation shall be punished or excluded from ballot papers on the basis of a final court decision and the electoral councils and bureaus which have committed such deviations shall be replaced.
