The relationship between Moldova and the USA improved over the last period. This is the message of Cristina Balan written for Global Ambassador's Journal.

According to the Ambassador of our country in the USA, more and more influential people from Washington are aware of Moldova's struggle to keep its independence, sovereignty and the European Integration path. 

In the same article, the official refereed to the American economic model, that is the best example for Moldova.

Moldova's future  and the capitalist economic model is the best opportunity of our country to improve", mentioned Cristina Balan.

The Ambassador of our country wrote about the achievements of this Government, inclusively the ones regarding the Jewish community. Starting 2016, Moldova commemorates the victims of the Holocaust through the National Day of Holocaust's Victims. Last year, the Government launched an educational initiative to promote the Jewish community. The Jews cemetery is renovated at the initiative of Andrian Candu and Pavel Filip.

At a gala, our Ambassador said that Moldova supports the occidental values.

"I represent a Government that promotes the Occidental values", said Cristina Balan, the Republic of Moldova's Ambassador in the USA.

Cristina Balan is the Republic of Moldova's Ambassador to the USA since June of the last year. Previously, she worked in the economic sector and some international companies. Cristina Balan was proposed in office by the Democratic Party.
