CEC warned 35 electoral candidates who participated on Parliamentary elections. What is the reason
35 electoral contestants who participated in the February 24 Parliamentary elections as independent candidates were warned by the CEC. They did not provide information on campaign spending or submitted partial financial reports.
"Following the examination of these reports, but rather the lack of submission to other electoral contestants, the Central Electoral Commission ordered the sanction to be applied by warning. The Commission will return to the information on the financial reports, including if there are any objections to it", said Alina Russu, CEC President.
The Central Electoral Commission will address the State Tax Service to verify the provenance of donations for the independent candidate for the post of deputy in the constituency no. 44, Veaceslav Cunev. This is stipulated in the Regulation on the Financing of Electoral Campaigns, because the amount of donations exceeded 75,000 lei. Veaceslav Cunev did not answer the phone to comment on this decision.
Asked by Publika TV Veaceslav Cunev, said that this money was donated from his own legal income, the thing he can prove.
In the February 24 elections, 325 electoral contestants competed for a mandate of deputy in the 51 uninominal constituencies. 269 of them were supported by parties, and 56 were independent.
