100 libraries in the Republic of Moldova will be renovated and will receive books with Romania's support.The statement was made by the Minister for Romanians Diaspora, Natalia Intotero, during a meeting with Prime Minister Pavel Filip.
The two officials discussed our culture and traditions, but also the partnerships. The prime minister said that this meeting took place on a symbolic day, when Mărţişorul is celebrated, a tradition included in the UNESCO Cultural Patrimony through joint efforts.
Currently, it is also promoted to be included in the UNESCO Heritage. The Minister for Romanians Diaspora also said that it is also discussing the promotion of joint projects for the Diaspora.
Pavel Filip thanked Romania for its continued support, but also for joint infrastructure projects, gas interconnection, electricity, communications and transport.
In particular, it was highlighted the opportunity to develop a cross-border crossing project on the European track gauge on the Chişinău-Iaşi railway route, but also to launch a fast train Chisinau-Bucharest.
