Full of pits, cracked asphalt and concrete slabs falling down, these are actual situation on some small bridges in Chisinau. Most of them have not been repaired for decades while money allocated for bigger bridges. 

Officials say all bridges will be repaired soon. 

"The authorities will work on these issues. We will try to repair the bridge, at least the pedestrian side". 

People living in the neighborhood of deteriorating bridges say they have worsened for the last five years. 

Head of Transport and Communication Directorate, Vitalie Butucel assured that they will take care of this issue, however, did not mention about costs or deadline for work.

"At the moment, they are not dangerous and urgent reparation will be in one, two years, depending on the financial possibilities of the municipality", said Vitalie Butucel, head of Public Transport, Chisinau.

There are 20 bridges and viaducts in Chisinau.
