The wind gust caused dozens of vegetation fire.

The strongest was registered in Cahul, on the Prut river bank. 25 ha of reed caught fire.

The flames extended very fast and reached a gas station. The fire was extinguished within four hours. Four fire fighters teams and some volunteers from Zarnesti village came to extinguish the flames.

"The firemen extinguished the flames after it put in danger a gas station and two stalls."

Now, the firemen try to find out the reason of the fire. The representatives of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations urge people to take caution and call 112 service in case of an emergency.

In the past 24 hours, 65 fires occurred in Moldova.
