Happiness for little patients: Walls of Republican Hospital have been painted
The children who are hospitalized at the Republican Institute will watched by fairy tale characters. The walls were covered by paintings made by Alexei Gurschii.
The little patients and their parents are impressed by the colorful paintings.
"I look at these paitings every day."
"If he cries we are going in the hall and he looks at paintings and becomes calm."
"It is great. The walls will relax them."
Alexei Gurschii painter says that it was the first time for him to paint the walls of a hospital.
"This project belongs to me and my friend who lives in New York. It is the second year when we draw fairy tale characters", said Alexei Gurschii.
The initiative belongs to the hospital's administration.
"We wanted to bring a little hope in children's lives. Taking into consideration that the mothers suffer when their child is ill we wanted to bring a little light in their lives", said Irina Rosca, the chief of Human Resources.
"This is a very good idea, especially for children", said Eduard Cheptanaru.
The Heart Diseases Section has over 30 years. Yearly, four hundred children are surged here.
