Since the weather outside is warmer, the number of mothers beggars increased. The policemen say that they fine the women. Capital City Hall wants to take harsh measures in order to stop this phenomenon.

Publika team found two mothers and their children begging in the subway placed at the intersection between Ismail street and Stefan cel Mare boulevard.

"-What are you doing here? -I am not going to tell you. -Do you know it is illegally to practice begging with your child? -Please, focus on your interests."

Suddenly, the woman started to behave aggressively:"Aren't you feel bad for using your child for begging? -Please, go somewhere else to do your job. I will break your camera."

We used a hidden camera to talk with another mother. She had her child in her arms and another four year child next to her. The woman said that she comes to beg daily from Calarasi.

"I pay 500 lei for the rent, also I need food, water, I need to pay for the taxes. I get between 100 and 150 lei daily", said the woman.

Even if she was fined a couple of times, the woman says she doesn't have another solution.

"I was fined twice. The fine is worth 200 or 300 lei."

People of the law say that they are monitoring the situation in order to find the women who make their children beg.

"We take the mothers who use their children in such actions to the police inspectorate. We give them a fine between 300 and 750 lei or between 15 and 24 hours of unpaid community work", declared Natalia Stati, Capital police press officer.

The City hall representatives say that these women can lose parental rights.
