20 firefighters from the Capital passed a resistance test.
The exercises took place in the so called smoke room, where the temperature is higher than 900 Celsius degrees. The rescues acted the same as with a real fire.
First of all, the rescues and the firefighters have been trained to enter in the flames room and then they were equipped.
"It is something unusual for us. We pass it, because we know how to act in such a case."
The action takes part of the yearly firefighters and rescues training. According to the instructors, they pass frequently such trainings.
"The training takes part of the yearly learning program of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations. It takes place once in three months", said Mircea Racila, IGSU captain.
According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, over 600 firefighters are trained yearly in the flames room.
