The best professors in our country have been nominated in the contest in Chisinau. There are 62 teachers appointed the best at the local level who came to compete to achieve the title The best teacher of Moldova.  

The Commission consisting of 15 members who tested the competitors professional intelligence, didactic competence as well as tutor activity.

Aurelia Vicol is a professor of Romanian and Universal History at Puhăceni high school, Anenii Noi. She's been working for more than 25 years. Commission members asked her how to make more interactive lesson. 

"I would like to propose pupils to deduce from a movie subject and global message which we are going to discuss in the lesson", said Aurelia Vicol.

Before taking the test, the professors passe the test at their institutions and district competition. 

"The questions were not complicated at all. I had questions related to domain and teaching activity", said Ana Rîpa, a professor at a high school in Călăraşi.

The evaluation committee consists of 15 experts, including officials from the Academy of Sciences and from the Ministry of Education.

"The test is special. Our professors can demonstrate their scientific correctness, originality", said Viorica Andrițchi, President of Commission. 

After the test today, the 62 professors will have to pass five tests. The best professor will be awarded on October 5, when the World Teacher's Day is celebrated.
