The state budget will cover the costs of many surgeries of persons who suffer of heart diseases.

The National Medicine Allowances company allocated 29 million lei more than in 2018 for this project.

CNAM representatives say that this money will be enough to surge 6400 people. The surgeries will be made in two hospitals.

In order to benefit of a free surgery, the patients should have a medial insurance. 

The previous year, 5700 patients benefited of heart surgeries, among which 47 were made to children who suffer of congenital malformation. A surgery costs between 27 and 79 thousand lei.
