An exhibition of the 30s was opened in Chisinau. The event is a real incursion in the fashion history. The event was organized by Alexandr Vasiliev Russian TV anchor. Within the event, over 50 outfits and 260 accessories worth 250 thousand USD were exhibited.

"We organize 12 exhibitions per year. We have already evolved 200. It is out first exhibition in Moldova. Certainly it will be a success. As far as I know this is the first such event in Moldova", said Alexandr Vasiliev.

The exhibition has "The fashion of Chisinau and Bucharest of 30" motto. The dresses and the outfits were exhibited at the national History Museum. It took half of a year to organize it. It was forbidden to touch the dresses, but, at least people could have touched them.

"The most important piece of this collection is the unique dress House of Worth that collaborated with the royal house. It belongs to Maria queen of Romania", said Elena Sarafulina, organizer.

More than 300 people attended the exhibition. Among them there was Monica Babuc, the Minister of Education, Culture and Research.

The exhibition will be open until May 2.
