The are getting higher pensions starting this month. This declaration was made by Silvia Radu, the minister of Health, Labor and Social protection within today's session of the Government. 

"As you mentioned, starting April 1 2019, the pensions were indexed by 5,3%. Thus, 690 186 beneficiaries get higher pensions.

All who receive higher pensions will get these on their bank account", declared Silvia Radu.

PUBLIKA.MD reminds that the Government came up with an initiative to support the retired whose pension is lower than 2000 lei. Also, they will get a 600 lei worth allowance for the Easter holidays. Totally, 610 persons will benefit of such an aid. The majority, over 400 thousand benefit of pensions because of their age and the others due to their disabilities.
