More and more Moldovan children go to European summer camp. What is the price
More and more Moldovan children go to European summer camps, even if the price is three times higher than in our country. The most popular summer camps are the ones from Greece and Bulgaria, because these are closer to our country.
Almost 1.000 pupils from Ungheni district go in these camps during their winter and summer vacation.
"The previous year, 30 pupils have been to Greece. They were impressed, because they visited Halkidiki. It was a great experience for them. This year, they want to explore another part of Greece", mentioned Vera Mihail, Romanian teacher.
The biggest summer camp for children is placed in Bulgaria. There, the teens have a 50 meters long basin, gym, cinema, football pitch. Eight days in Bulgaria cost 250 Euro.
"The summer camp has a 7 kilometers long beach, lifeguards", said Mihai Ceban, touristic guide.
Many children also go to Greece. There , the children learn English and practice sports.
Also, children go to Romania, in Brasov. They pay 300 Euro for seven days in a 4 stars hotel. In Ukraine, children go to Bukovel.
"Artek summer camp is also famous. It costs 1400 Euro to stay there seven days", said mariana Grajdeanu, touristic guide.
The ones who can afford higher prices go to summer camps in the UK, France, Switzerland and Austria. The prices can even reach two thousand Euro.
"In Austria, they study German language, waltz. They also make personality development training", declared Maria Grajdeanu.
The summer camps start their activity in summer. The average price is 1.500 lei for seven days. Here there are many touristic, sports and intellectual activities.
In order to send their children to a foreign summer camp, they must do a power of attorney.
