The technical, crime and judicial expertise center of PGI has been equipped with equipment for creating bullets and cartridge tubes.

The priorities offered by ballistic equipment are as follows:

- in the case of transnational crime using the same firearm, they will be combined and investigated in complex, which will easily allow the illumination of all circumstances;

- weapons used for committing transnational crime will be identified on the basis of technical compatibility, regardless of the country in which they are registered;

- forensic experts will benefit from the ballistic exchange facility with their peers from abroad through a specific platform;

- firearms used for offenses detected in the investigation of offenses, tubes and bullets at the crime scene will be screened in the Interpol information database.

We mention that "double casting" technology is approved and used by Interpol. The decision to implement this innovation offers the free exchange of information between the various states of the world. 

Thus, the Moldovan Police in conjunction with the General Prosecutor's Office will be able to send the replicas of the bullets and cartridges detected at the crime scene for verification in any other country of the world.
