Ion Aldea-Teodorovici singer and composer would have celebrated his 65th birthday today. The artist was born in Leova village. His passion for music started since he was a child. When he was 5 years old he started to study the violin and the piano.

In 1961, Ion Aldea-Teodorovici started his studies at the school music. In 20 years, he has met his future wife, Doina.

The couple was famous for fighting for the union of Bessarabia with Romania and for the national Renaissance.

Ion Aldea-Teodorovici and his wife Doina died in a road accident on the night between October 29 and 30 1992.

Their car hit a tree near Cosereni village placed 49 kilometers far from Bucharest, Romania.
