Blue and White head voiced his confidence in his party on Tuesday in Ashdod, not long after he cast his ballot in Tuesday's elections, writes jpost.com.
"The Likud realized that we are going to be the biggest party," he said, "and in order to ensure this we must continue all the time and in every place, to join, to go to vote, to influence, to exercise your voting privilege. We are going to win. We're half a meter away. One final push and we're going to get it done. Good luck to us all."Gantz voted on Tuesday morning alongside his wife in his home town of Rosh Ha'ayin.
"This is a day of hope; a day of unity," he said at the polling station. "I am looking the people of Israel in the eyes and telling them that change is possible. I offer myself as Israel's prime minister and together, we will take this new path. I call out to all of you - let's respect democracy and go vote."
Gantz cast his ballot after visiting his parents' graves.
His party, which he leads along with Yair Lapid, has polled between 28 and 36 seats in opinion polls during the campaign season and is expected to be neck and neck with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud Party when exit polls are released at 10 p.m. local time.
Meanwhile, Lapid spent his Election Day morning a little differently."This is how you start Election Day," the leader of Yesh Atid tweeted alongside a video of him boxing. "The traditional exercise, fighting for every voice. Changing the country."
The Blue and White No. 2 visited the ballot box a little later.Surrounded by activists and supporters, Lapid voted alongside his wife and children.
