The Moldovan wine companies brought 673 international medals the previous year. The number is as twice higher in comparison with 2017, when the Moldova wine only gained 382 medals.

The number of distinctions could be higher if all the producers presented the data at the National Wine Bureau, writes Moldpres. Fautor wine is the leader (116 medals), then follows Purcary Winery (69) and Chateau Vartely (58). Bostavan, Albastrele Wines and Castel Mimi also recorded good achievements.
