According to the Agency's Intervention and Payments Agency, more and more farmers receive subsidies from the state. The number of files received by the AIPA increased by 10% since the beginning of the year has
"Since February 1, 566 financial support applications have been received in the amount of 92.3 million lei, with about 10% more than the number of files received in the same period of the last year", - a press release from the AIPA.
According to the agency, the value of investments made by agricultural producers is on the rise as the amount of subsidies requested during the reference period increased by 60%, equivalent to 36 million lei.
Stimulating investments in procurement of agricultural machinery and equipment (316 files) is the sub-measure for which most cases are filed. The subsidy requested is 31.8 million lei or 35% of the total requested subsidies.
Stimulation of investments in setting up multi-annual plantations including grubbing-up of non-productive crops (115 files) is another area for which subsidies are requested, total value is of 16.4 million lei.
According to AIPA data, agricultural producers have also made an interest in investments for the development of post-harvesting and processing infrastructure, submitting 43 requests for financial support in the amount of 30.8 million lei.
Until the moment the AIPA managed to authorize for payment 202 files or 36% of the total number of files received, totaling 17.6 million lei.
