The pensions and the salaries will be paid in time without the Government to borrow any money. This was announced by Ion Chicu, the minister of Finances on his Facebook page. The reaction came after some journalists and experts in economy said that the authorities will borrow money in order to pay be salaries and pensions.

"In the past period, many persons are wondering about the economic condition of our country. Well, we have enough money to pay the salaries and pensions..", said Ion Chicu.

The minister of Finances says that the public loan is 164 million lei smaller now. 

"I can see that they said that we will not manage to pay the salaries and pensions for the next period, but this is not true. We don't have to borrow money from somebody else in order to fulfill our promises to the citizens", added Ion Chicu.
