Hundreds of parishioners attended last night the Resurrection service at Metropolitan Cathedral in Chisinau which was led by Metropolitan Vladimir, along with a priest council. 

The believers came to witness the holy service and consecrate bread, Easter cake, red eggs and other Easter traditional dishes. 

They respected Easter traditions and tried to keep their good deed on these days. 

"When children wake up, we will place water, money, holy eggs into a plate. Wash cheek with eggs and take money. And then say Christian is risen" said a believer. 

The Holy Fire was also brought from Jerusalem by Moldovan metropolitan Vladimir.

"I received this Holy Fire from God and brought home in family so that we will have beautiful happy life, let's work, let's love, let's live", said Moldovan metropolitan Vladimir.

President Igor Dodon also attended the Resurrection Service at Metropolitan Cathedral.
