Public Service Agency and State Fiscal Inspectorate are working according to usual work schedules.
People also submit income declaration at Fiscal Inspectorate.
"I choose to submit documents on these days because other people are on holiday", said a person at Fiscal Inspectorate.
"You just submit identity card and a declaration is issued which takes only two, three minutes. Up to 10:30 today, there have been around 10 ten people coming here", said Dan Suruceanu, principal inspector.
The closing date for income declaration is May 2. Employees of State Fiscal Service will work the last day on Wednesday. Moldovan citizens who fail to submit will risk sanctions.
"Sanctions ranging from 200 lei till 1000 lei for people who fail to submit tax on time. Penalties of 0.0329% of unpaid amount for each late day", said Olga Baciu, spokesman of State Fiscal Service.
Moldovan legislation stipulates 13 paid rest days annually. State officers have short vacation until May 1.
