Moldovan producers and exporters of plum and grape are able to obtain grants to implement post-harvest technologies and to promote exports on EU markets. These grants can be applied from USAID project Agricultural Performance in Moldova.
The closing date for application is May 27.
According to the project, from total budget amounts to 2.7 million lei, each grant between 600,000 and 900,000 lei can be awarded for successful applicant. They have to contribute 50% investment, however.
National Bureau of Statistics shows that during 2008-2018, productions of plum increased from 56,000 to 93,000 tons while grape - from 66,000 to 109,000 tons.
