Moldovan nuts trees appreciated abroad. Half of Ukraine trees are imported from Moldova
Half of the nuts trees from Ukraine are imported from Moldova. According to the Ukraine farmers, the Moldova trees are more resistant. The most of the exported trees are from Rediul de Sus village, Falesti district. The breeding ground of Nicolae Chictenco is one of the most developed ones from the Eastern Europe. He farmers started his activity 30 years ago.
"The nuts are very good in Moldova. We don't have diamonds, coal, iron or other deposits in Moldova. Instead, we have nuts", declared Nicolae Chictenco, farmer.
The farmer is also a scientist. He implemented a special technology. He managed to raise resistant material. Moreover, the trees have nuts after the second year", said Ghenadii Iudin, the vice-president of a farm from Ukraine.
The consultants also give advice to the farmers from Ukraine.
"Our orchards are in Ukraine. We have 96 hectares in Crimea, 50 in Rostov Don, Russia", said Nicolae Chictenco, farmer.
In September, Nicolae Chictenco will plant 150 ha of orchard in Armenia and North Osetia.
"The temperature reaches 30 Celsius degrees below zero in this zone. They are sure that the Moldovan trees are very good", said Nicolae Chictenco, farmer.
Other 40 thousand trees will be plant in Kazakhstan. One nuts tree costs 10 Euro abroad.
