The Hancesti-Leuseni road will be repaired by November. Otherwise, the contrast with the Azerbaidjan company will be suspended. The conditions were announced by the authorities who say that the road repair works are being three years late.

Chiril Gaburici, the minister of Economy and Infrastructure went on the building site to check on the work.

"It is not easy to walk on such a road day by day."

"They should have finished it long ago."

The representatives of the Azerbaijan company explained the phenomenon.

"It happens often. Everything depends on the weather conditions. Here the weather is rainy", said Seymur Mehditev, building site director.

Now, the company pays fines for each day that they are late.

"We need to monitor this project, because it is very important", said Chiril Gaburici.

The budget allocated for this project is 19 million Euro. The money was borrowed by the European Bank for Development and Reconstruction.

The previous year, the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure suspended seven contracts with foreign companies that didn't fulfill their work in time.
